DO YOU HAVE MEDICAL TRAINING?
posted over 4 years ago by Susanbrown from Baton Rouge Flood
The Louisiana Department of Health has received numerous requests from individuals and health care professionals who are ready to volunteer to meet the health and medical needs of residents who were displaced because of the current flooding event.
Volunteers are asked to follow this process to be certified to volunteer:
Medical volunteers who live in Louisiana and non-medical volunteers can register through Louisiana Volunteers in Action (LAVA) by calling (225) 354-3568 or [online].
Medical volunteers from out-of-state should call the LDH Emergency Operations Center at (225) 354-3568 to register.
